Working title: Quaranzine

Theme: Documenting the Quarantine + stories of courage/hope i’ll get a better name later it’s late right now

Length: TBD when we get a finalized # of expected submissions

Tentative due-date for all submissions: May 1st

Summary:

Because of the outbreak and downtime people are having, we are launching this community event to do something fun. 🎉

Solo and collaboration submissions allowed for all pieces. Format is American Standard, use this template: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/688958351920463872/689875992000462966/lulu_comic_book_interior_template_1.pdf Digital copy can be in color; prepare to submit in grayscale for printing.

Currently looking at:

• Comics –
  • 1 page minimum
  • No set maximum # of pages.
  • You can be involved in as many pairups as you want.
  • Page 1 of your comic starts on the righthand side
• Strips and Yonkomas – submit 1 strip at a time, do as many as you want. We will organize them on the page. Probably 2-3 to a page
• Writing – no more than 2 pages
• Poetry – stick to 1 page maximum. Like poetry + art background.
• Illustration – 1 page, but feel free to submit multiple
• Cover – open slot for someone to illustrate that

Final Product:

We will format the final compilation so that it can be printed. Print is projected to be Grayscale. It is in American Standard comic book format. Out of House: Print-to-order so people can individually order their copy Digital: free
